Types of restorative dentistry we provide at City Point Dental
Crowns & Bridges
Dental crowns are perfect for protecting damaged teeth. A dental crown covers up your entire tooth, reducing the risk of further decay or damage. If you’ve damaged your tooth or you have a very severe cavity leading to a tooth infection, a crown may be the best option.
Dental bridges are a related treatment. They use two crowns, which attach to one or more false teeth (pontics). The two crowns hold the false teeth in place, “bridging” the gap in your smile. If you’re missing one or more adjacent teeth, bridges may be the right choice for restoring your smile.
Fillings

At City Point Dental, we usually recommend tooth-colored composite fillings over metal fillings (aka dental amalgam.)
